Warehouses and logistics centres in Poland face a persistent shortage of manual workers. Turnover for positions such as packer or sorter is often high, while seasonal peaks require rapid team scaling. Foreign workers fill these gaps – provided recruitment and legalisation are handled efficiently. JOBCEN has been supplying warehouse staff from Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe since 2008.

We take over the entire process: from candidate selection in the country of origin, through employment legalisation, to on-site adaptation support. The employer receives work-ready people, while we assume responsibility for paperwork and formalities.

Positions we fill

Warehouse positions – who we supply

We recruit manual workers for six key logistics positions. Every candidate undergoes skills verification and health-and-safety training.

Warehouse operative

Receives, issues and stores goods in line with warehouse documentation. Requires scanner operation skills and basic knowledge of a WMS.

Forklift operator

Moves loads inside the warehouse and on loading bays. UDT (Office of Technical Inspection) licence and experience on reach and side-loader trucks required.

Order picker

Picks orders according to pick lists, scans codes and packs parcels. Requires accuracy, a fast work pace and the ability to read labels in English.

Packer

Packs products into cartons, film or onto pallets according to client specifications. No previous experience required – we provide on-the-job training.

Sorter

Sorts parcels by post codes, routes or priorities. The role requires attentiveness and resilience to monotony.

Shift coordinator

Supervises the warehouse team, assigns tasks and reports to the manager. Good command of English or Polish and team-management experience required.

How long does the legalisation of a foreign worker for warehouse work take?

Legalisation takes from 2 to 7 months, depending on the country and route. The statement-based procedure for Armenia, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine is faster than a work permit.

How long from placing an order to the worker's first day?

From contract signing to the start of work usually takes 2–7 months – that is how long legalisation lasts. Once it is complete, the workers report to the warehouse on the agreed date.

What are the costs of hiring a worker through JOBCEN?

The cost of the service depends on the model: permanent recruitment, temporary work or process outsourcing. We provide a single fixed rate that already includes the entire service, without breaking it down into separate items.

Do you provide accommodation for workers?

Yes, we offer accommodation or help find it. The standard and location are agreed with the employer, taking into account the commute to the warehouse.

How do you overcome the language barrier?

Every employee undergoes a Polish language and industry vocabulary course. An English- and Russian-speaking coordinator is present on site, supporting communication with supervisors and helping in everyday situations.

Who is responsible for document compliance and any inspections?

JOBCEN assumes responsibility for employment legalisation and document compliance with regulations. Under the temporary-work model, the agency is the employer and pays the salary – no lower than 4806 zł gross per month. The user employer is responsible for on-site working conditions and organisation.
