Temporary Employment Agency

Foreign Workers for Food Processing and the Meat Industry

JOBCEN supplies manual workers for food production: from recruitment, through employment legalisation, to accommodation and adaptation support. You hire for a specific period or permanently – we take care of documents and crew adaptation.

Workforce Recruitment

Who We Place in Food Processing Plants

Meat, dairy and processing plants adjust staffing seasonally: peaks during harvests, holidays and summer tourism require rapid shift filling. Local candidates often fail to meet demand for nights, weekends and work in low temperatures. Foreign workers fill manual-role gaps, provided documentation is filed before the start date.

JOBCEN conducts direct and temporary recruitment, prepares the application for a foreigner's employment, provides an English-speaking coordinator and accommodation. As part of the cooperation, we organize a Polish language and industry-specific course so that the employee understands safety rules and hygiene procedures from day one.

  • Recruitment from markets rarely targeted by Polish employers
  • Replacement guarantee for the hired worker and adaptation support
  • Accommodation of a good standard, location tailored to the workplace
  • 18-month limit on temporary work for a single user employer

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions from Employers

Answers covering recruitment, costs, timeframes and the division of responsibilities.

Can foreign workers be employed directly in food production?

Yes, provided they hold a valid legal basis: a statement on entrusting the performance of work, a work permit or a notification for Ukrainian citizens with a PESEL UKR. Before starting work, we verify that the documents match the scope of duties for the given position.

How long does it take to deliver a worker to the plant?

The legalisation procedure usually takes from 2 to 7 months. After a positive decision is issued, we organise transport, accommodation and onboarding into plant procedures. Under the statement procedure, the timeframe is shorter.

What are the costs of employing a foreign worker?

The cost depends on the cooperation model: direct recruitment, temporary work or outsourcing. A single fixed rate covers the entire service, without breaking it down into smaller components.

Does JOBCEN provide accommodation?

Yes, we offer accommodation or help find it. We adapt the location to the workplace, public transport and the possibility of purchasing everyday products.

How do you handle the language barrier on the production floor?

Every employee receives a Polish language and industry-specific course. Additionally, an English- and Russian-speaking coordinator helps in the first weeks with communication with management and the OHS department.

Who bears responsibility for the legality of employment?

The user employer is responsible for working conditions at the plant; JOBCEN, as a temporary employment or personnel consultancy agency, oversees the formal side and documentation. We cooperate on working time limits, including the 18-month temporary work cap for a single user employer within any 36 consecutive months.
